2025 (Summer) Board of Directors Meeting
The recent Thanksgiving holiday has us thinking about all we are thankful for. Our amazing board is high on that list. Our board members share so much of themselves and their time- the ultimate friends of the American chestnuts. They help to guide our chapter with empathy, intelligence, and a persistent and valuable farsightedness. To all of our board members, past and present, thank you for being a special part of our crew!
These photos were taken at the conclusion of our August board meeting at the Tyler Arboretum, where we enjoyed a visit to the American chestnut orchard on property. The orchard is stewarded by our current president, Dan O’Keefe, who “inherited” it from fellow board member John Wenderoth. Dan and John are shown together in the last photo of the gallery below.
